Overview
With Khudi Chat, you can securely send messages, make voice and video calls, share media, and stay connected with people around the world. Follow the steps below to set up Khudi Chat on your device. Note: • Install Khudi Chat on a device running a supported operating system. • To use Khudi Chat Web or Khudi Chat Desktop, you must first sign in to Khudi Chat on your mobile device and then link your other devices.
Download Khudi Chat
Get the app on your mobile device:
- Download Khudi Chat from your device's app store.
- Tap Install.
- Once the installation is complete, open Khudi Chat from your home screen or app drawer.
Register Your Phone Number
To activate your Khudi Chat account:
- Open Khudi Chat.
- Enter your active phone number.
- Verify your phone number using the verification code sent to you.
- Complete your profile setup by adding your name and profile photo (optional).
Add Contacts
You can start chatting by adding contacts to Khudi Chat:
- Sync contacts from your device (if enabled).
- Add contacts manually using their phone number.
- Edit or remove contacts at any time.
Restore Your Chat Backup
If you have previously backed up your chats to Khudi Chat Cloud, you can restore them during setup:
- Sign in with the same phone number used to create your backup.
- When prompted, tap Restore Backup.
- Wait for your messages and media to be restored before using the app.
Link Your Devices
After setting up Khudi Chat on your phone, you can access your account on multiple devices:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Linked Devices.
- Tap Link a Device.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your desktop or web browser.
Note: Your primary phone must remain registered with your Khudi Chat account. Supported linked devices may include Windows, macOS, Web Browsers, Android Tablets, and other supported companion devices.
